Establishing Heaven In Your Home

Do you want to bring an ease and peace to your family? To change the quality of life in your home? To show your children the heart of God like never before? It may take willingness on your part to accept a paradigm shift in the way you parent.

Being a parent is the ultimate privilege in life. God actually entrusts us with the life of another human to raise for His purposes.

Approach the privilege of raising children as a divine assignment for which He has given us all the tools we need to do it well. Heaven can pass through you to your children!

Isaiah 9:7 says: “There will be no end to the increase of His government or of peace…” Establishing the government of Heaven in your home is first priority.

And to do that you need to examine your bottom line, what is the most important issue for you as a parent when you are interacting with your children?

Does the motivating factor in your parenting match up with what drives the Father’s heart toward His children?

For most of us the goal of raising children is to teach them to obey. With all our might, we try to ensure that they turn out good and the obvious method for accomplishing this goal is to teach them to do as we say.

Obedience is an important part of our relationship with our children, but not the most important quality.

The greatest command is love (Luke 10:27). Jesus promoted relationship above the rules.

Love and relationship are the bottom line of the Kingdom, and they must be ours if we wish to establish a Kingdom culture in our homes.
